The Inner Garden is an exhibition of paintings and sculptures circling around mysticism.
The show begins from one of the oldest longings of the soul: the wish to cross from separation into union. Across distant traditions, poets and mystics have returned to this desire again and again, as though the human being, standing within the world and wounded by beauty, could not help but ask where the source of that beauty is, and whether it might one day be met.
Through symbolic forms, inner landscapes, and objects charged with meaning, The Inner Garden invites visitors into a space between the visible and the invisible, the earthly and the spiritual, the intimate and the universal.
The show opens on May 30 with an aperitivo-style gathering, including drinks and light food. During the opening, a limited-edition signed exhibition catalogue will be available, with only 50 copies printed, as well as a small series of ceramic…
